Nature Play in Taman Lembah Kiara TTDI Park

Another favorite place in Kuala Lumpur Area

I guess I found this treasure a bit late. We went to TTDI Park quite often as its on the way to my favorite Aunt (Auntie Manju's Banana Leaf) a must have meal on weekend.

But today we did't go to Auntie Manju, because it was too early to have full set of Banana Leaf. We just want simple roti and hot teh tarik.

Taman Lembah Kiara Park, TTDI Park, Taman Rimba Kiara TTDI whatever you name it, the GPS will show you the same area.

We just park the car, refill our bag with cold mineral water, couple cans of hundred plus, and soy milk, and walk a bit.

There are two kid's fave area. Before Play ground and after playground.

Before Playground is more rocky, the "RIVER"feeling is real. Lot of kids screaming and splashing.

                               

But, because Marcella is not really used to walk on the river yet. And I got paranoid she will fall over and bang her head on those rocks. We decide to walk a bit further.

The stream is more shallow, more sands, and tots-friendly.

She just put her hands on, noticed there were plenty tadpole ran around in the stream.
We use KITCHEN SIEVE....
YES... THE ONE I USE TO SIEVE FLOUR...

I keep forgot to visit pet shop to pick some fish net for her.
Oh well, you don't need to be fancy to be happy ain't you? haha

And released them again because we didn't bring any container.

Plenty family having picnic nearby too...

Just beware with the naughty monkeys, they really love to steal your lunch bag.

Make sure you always keep an eye on them, and ALWAYS put your phone+car key+ wallet in your sling bag/pocket.

It's almost lunch hour we need to head off to have some lunch, groceries, and home.

All the way Marcella loves to pick "treasures" from dry leaves, grass, rocks and often sticks.

Today she insist to bring home her umbrella-leaves.

Walkies in FRIM

Our first walk in 2018 :)

One of my favorite place in Malaysia.

Its near to city, easy to access yet it is A FOREST not just park.

Bonus: in the entrance, there is a small road in the left side where the local build a lot of restaurant and convenience facilities.

Enjoying its old trees always remind me with my old age where I used to roam around from one jungle to another to collect specimen.

Located in Kepong, only 10 minutes drive from Mont Kiara. Sometimes I just take uber to force myself to walk. 

We stop at "picnic"area, nearby the waterfall and walk from there.

The bottom natural pool, loads of kids having a dip and their families picnic in surrounding.

We keep walking to the waterfall, and little bit keep going up.

There is an old pool but the management cover it up with sands.

I think its for safety.

We just play with the sands and the little stream passed from higher waterfall.

Nice texture for sensory eh..?

It was raining when we arrived, so we walk up with umbrella. Look how the little Missy play around with caddy following her around.

Ibu Family: How Much I Love This Playgroup

It was only the 2nd time Marcella joining the playgroup.

As a new Mom who is overwhelming with anything, I am finally able to sort myself out. Making proper routine schedule for both being a parent, teacher, house works, and being myself. As Marcella is getting bigger she need to learn to socialize with other kids too before the age of school, I found this organization is my salvation.

Mixed of both local and expat, I love the Moms there.

They are all educated, talk about important things (nobody talked about handbag, shoes, or nail polish so far) and their parenting style seems match with how I like.

In my condominium, where we both play in a shirts covered with sands, mud, water and we both ran around barefoot. Some of the Mom who are well dressed looking at us in a very "funny" way... and PSSTTTTTT...... some of them even bravely asked if I was the maid of my own kid. Not like I got offended, but somehow makes me think those "Mom"is quite shallow, and their kids must be shallow too...

Something I wont get in Ibu Playgroup, everyone are someone's Mother. Everyone quite respectful and no prejudice by appearance. <<<=== OK, out of topic.

So yeah,

It's only 2nd day of us joining the playgroup and we made a lot of friends, gain parenting knowledge and all of the sudden I become so child expert lol.
