We are big fan of easy-but-served-multisensory play.
Corn is one of our material. The husks, the corn on the cob, the cob, the silk.. All having different textures and shape.
My little one enjoy peel the corn husk and play with them for a while before we grill. When we enjoy the roasted corn, the cobs would be another play material.
Corn silk usually take the longest in the play tray, the soft silky Barbie hair like really nice to touch and hold.
Corn silk served roles in pretend play, as noodle or pasta.
Paired with chopsticks, tong, fork and spoon it brush up her fine motor skills.
Another day it will served as hair extensions, nests, ocean and fairy playground on her pretend play.
Bird's nest with corn-bird just hatched in it. Those white stuff meant to be the egg shells.
The corn man :)
