Naked Burger

It was my buka puasa day "I don't know"
can't really remember,
was couple days ago

Both of us were tired from office and can't really figure out what we going to eat.
After spent almost hours in grocery, we found a nice ready-to-cook lamb burger.
We decided to pick two of them and cook it.

We were too lazy to cook on the pan like normal burger and just threw it in oven.
set the time, and watch AFC.
After half an hour..
ta.. da...

My burger came out of the shape..
from pressed patties turn into big round jumbo size meat ball..

nice and well cook inside..
tender and juicy
just yummy

mint sauce make lamb taste better..

served with simple salad, potato wedges and couple sip of wine..

Wine on Ramadhan...??!?!
eerr... why not..?
haha

very naughty..!

China Wok Chicken Rice

another eating place under the apartment

Chicken rice is one of food in my favourite list,
I always like the ginger-garlic fragance steamed rice,  roasted chicken, and some kind of bean sprout soaked in light soy sauce.

We went to one of chicken rice restaurant under apartment a week ago to feel my crave.

Bean Sprout served fresh with light soy sauces and crispy fried shallot

Lemon Tea not good, way too sweet for me and it's fake (F&N Lemon Tea in Package)
Sign of lazyness
Could you spend five minutes to squeeze the lemon, so that you could served proper drink to company your proper food?

Crispy roasted chicken is perfect
Crispy on the skin and juicy inside...

Finger licking good...

Sepang Gold Coast

Sepang,
Selangor

I guess Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Govt tried really hard to build a beachy-like place in west coast,
to give the local some beachy entertainment during weekend without travel too long to Port Dickson, Kuantan or Pangkor.

Not sure how  much they spent to make the idea come true,
but I can see this is expensive...

Convenient?
I guess so, just drive toward KLIA and turn left before Sepang Circuit.
And another 30-40 minutes drive toward Kampong road, you will reach the beach.
*If you not got lost of course... haha

Nice for short weekend getaway...

No flight hassle, no drive too far,
but something not match with me :
1. No cheap pub along the way
2. Not enough trees around the chalet ( I love being lazy under the trees, and snore)
3. Too much water, less land (what I'm going to do during hot day..?)

nice water chalet,
but not that much...

during low tide, very un-apetizing
(I guess we went at the wrong time)

Maybe during high tide, we can fishing or boating around to the open sea
crossed to Indonesia..

infinity pool is the only entertainment in the middle of palm tree shape.
yet too small for me,
I can reach corner to corner just 3-4 stroke..

I guess it meant to just enough to deep your ass off..

I don't think it could occupied half of the guest
(swimming pool in our apartment even bigger and better)

I feel like I am in the middle of desert
way too hot
where is the tree...?!!?!?!??!

couple snap of them..
I just can't imagine if we have chalet with "Neighbour View"
Don't think I would like it...

I would rather have garden view chalet on the land,
where I don't have to watch or watched by my neighbour.
Feel like a stalker, no..?

Force Mr to pose and take his picture..

ok

man made beach,
during low tide..

not that bad.

the sands is very smooth and fine,
lot of kids and family play kite

I kept thinking of fresh coconut water, but.. oh dear....
PUASA....!!!!!
*glek.. errkkk

After discuss what is the possibility of what we going to do for the rest of evening, night, and morning before check out if we stay here,
Where we can get a good drink and food beside of the hotel restaurant,
How much we gonna spend,
The variety of the food menu,
how many restaurant around the resort,
Do they have good steak? Or good mie goreng mamak and roti jala at least?
What he going to do if suddenly I want Domino Pizza (where to get... eh...?!?!?!)

yes-no-yes-no-yes-no-yes-no-yes-no-yes-no...
we decide to not stay,
and drove back to Kuala Lumpur...

All the way from Gold Coast to KLIA road plenty stall selling fruits on the street side,
esp dragon fruit.
Along the area is dragon fruit farm.
I manage to buy one, but I just wonder why the price on the road stall (which is pick and sell) is more expensive with the one sold carefour...?

But I think the expensiveness is worth,
local fruits always has better taste than Imported from China.
Fresher, and REAL..
Pick and sell, not too long stay in container for shipment.

Nice Weekend.... :)

Melaka Day Trip

Last weekend me & my sister went to Melaka (Malacca)
Another states of West Malaysia where you can reach within 1-2 hours from Kuala Lumpur.

If you are first timer in Malaysia, and you start to learn to explore around,
Melaka is one of good spot to begin

Using public transportation is convenient too...
here is the route from Kuala Lumpur
1. Take any public transportation to TBS (terminal bandar tasik selatan) or (terminal bersepadu...?) dunno..!
It's in Bandar Tasik Selatan area. You may reach there by : ERL from KL sentral, KTM Komuter, Rapid
KL Bus, or LRT Star on Sri Petaling Line
2. Buy ticket in counter, I rather bought it online by Konsortium or Transnasional. There are plenty bus will
carry you from KL to Melaka such as KKKL, Mayasari (or Mayangsari)
*google it yourself. If too lazy like me, then just buy online. Journey took around 2 hours.
3  Upon arrival in Melaka Sentral Bus Station,
take local bus no 17, (pay RM 1) and you stop on Dutch Square

On this trip I only roam around Heritage Place (Church, Jonker Street, River)

Just 5 minutes after we reach, I bought this hat for RM 15.
Quite cheap if we compare in Mid Valley (RM 35)

I would suggest don't buy in a shop near the Church... just walk a bit in Jonker street.
My sister got the same hat with only RM 9
how sad and feel cheated I am... hiks.. :'(

My sister and her first pose...

then all the pictures here about her,
because mine are in her camera and she forgot to bring the cable...

Now she went back to Penang without feeling guilty..!

some view of Jonker Street in afternoon,
I just wonder what makes people Queue so long for food..

(don't they feel like Somalian queue for food ration..?)

some of tourist asked me if I want to joined them to taste the food, they were curious about what people queueing about.

ME..? QUEUE FOR FOOD...?

NO WAY...

mengamuk pasal lapar ada lah...

then we just walk pass by and ate cup noddle because we were too arrogant to stand on the line
and continue to wander around.

Jonker Street during the day,
Quiet....

souvenir shop along the way,

Melaka is famous with it's wooden sandal

Antique Shop

tiny winy bity shop..

another clog shop

random pics..

another queue spot
now is for chicken rice balls..

I like the river,
must be nice to watch it at night...

one of the nice land mark around the area...

Last pic taken
before we wait the bus back

worth visit..!
couldn't find asam pedas and keropok lekor there though...

What Make Me Happy

What makes me happy living in Kuala Lumpur...?
If I allow to list down, it will be a looong loooong list.
Start from nasi lemak stall, nasi dagang, the existence of Johor, Terengganu, Langkawi,
LRT, RapidKL, AirAsia, Pavilion, Parkson, Metrojaya, Carefour, Pasar Malam,
kepok lekor, roti telur, pringles..
lot lot lot lot more...

but here I list what makes me happy most, living in my current Life....

Sibling,

family and best friend,

Best Friend and Family
my awesome BFF

Without you realize that you stand stronger because of you have someone need you.
Having people around we can trust, without worry of backstabbing, betraying, taking advantage,
makes my life more secure and relax.

I am so grateful to have two of them around me.

cup of tea..
warm my feeling up :)

Snif the nice aroma of fresh brewed Jasmine Tea,
Enjoy in balcony while you watch sunset.
(Full moon of nifsu sya'ban pun sangat cantik untuk ditengok)
A perfect company for ME-time

cold beer

chill my sweaty afternoon

world is not perfect without chilled nice beer...

vacation and any outdoor activity

Free wind, free breeze, free fresh air, free sunlight, free sweat,
forget tight suit and skirt, just loose shirt and hawaiian shorts.
Forget high heel, just barefoot or flip-flop
unplug yourself from daily wise-ness and be an insane person once in a while to keep
the life balance...

yes,
we are young...
travel more, outdoor more will keep us appreciate our life,
give us strong reason that we need to be alive longer
to taste all of those food we haven't ate before

Bento Dinner

Suria KLCC
Petronas Twin Tower Food Court
(Top Floor)

What I like about foodcourt is when you have bunch of friend visit you
with different food preference.

Some want rice, some want western, other begging for Japanese Bento, and the rest
happy with fried noddle and coffee.

Roasted Spring Chicken

this is how we appreciate home cooking...

We went run this evening, and leave us hungry.
But when we went to groceries and restaurant, nothing really touch our sense.
I don't fancy any Quiche, Pie, Moroccan Dish, Bens anything..

I want something home-made and simple..
end up with choose spring chicken and couple packed of fresh veggie..

rub with a bit of herbs, olive oil, salt, pepper..
lime juice,
and little pray..

after 1 hour..

crispy skin with tender and juicy meat inside...

fresh cooked...

fresh cut..

just enough for two..

served with pile of veggie

fresher, lighter and healthier :)
*correct grammar, no?

Cheap Grilled Chicken Chop

Grilled Chicken Chop
I bought from Mid Valley Food court

don't asked me how was the taste...
I would rather eat cup noddle or mie goreng  from proper mamak stall

moral of the story :
Don't force yourself in a life you couldn't afford.
When you couldn't afford proper western food or too lazy cook at home,
Nasi Dalcha served you better than any  Chicken Chop in food court
